The Award winning animated series now has an award winning website. Battling off the stiff competition the PBS Jakers! website was awarded the Prix Jeunesse Web Prize.
We developed the Jakers! website in order to promote the recently launched children's license. It is proving extremely popular with kids and adults alike.
The Jakers! website follows that standard of high production values set by the TV series. Fully rendered immersive environments encourage users to explore the site. All the activities within the Jakers! website have an educational slant. However they're not 'boring' - the education comes from solving problems and through creative expression. Most of the time kids won't realise that they are learning - they're just having fun.
It's essentially a website of two halves: the kids get games, e-cards, activity ideas, colour-in printables, screensavers and fun info about the series while caregivers get educational notes, teacher activities and programme guides.
The 1.5 million unique users visiting the PBS Kids Jakers! website every month prove that it's well targeted at the audience.
