Flash game design and development for Lego.com Pre-school Lego Fire Academy.
Graduate from the Lego Fire Academy!
We designed and developed a suite of 4 Flash games for the pre-school section of Lego.com.
Using the Lego Fire Station models as the basis for the games, players can take on the role of a telephone operator, fire engine driver, cannon aimer or a ladder operator.
Players are awarded with a Graduation rosette when they achieve the required standard of play. If they play exceptionally well they are presented with a Super-Graduation rosette - it's somewhat like graduating with honours.
The level of difficulty is finely tuned to the skills of the pre-school children likely to play the games on the Lego.com website. The Flash games have such high production values that older children and even adults should enjoy playing the games too.
To top it off the games are designed to facilitate localisation via XML data. Lego can edit any of the text content in the Flash games simply be editing a text file, they can also add different languages without incurring any additional costs.
