DCE (Data Compliance Equipment) manufacture bespoke CCTV signs and retail data compliance equipment.
DCE wanted a site that would pitch them above their competitors and reflect their attention to detail. They were also keen for the site to be extremely easy to use - both for the site's visitors and for DCE to update. They also wanted it to work on two levels - for the public and trade.
Rather than creating two separate entities for the two levels of user, we kept things simple. The trade customers use the same shopping area as the public, however the CMS intelligently delivers different prices and different products pursuant to the visitor's user level.
The e-commerce website is driven by a Content Management System (CMS). DCE can add products, change prices, and administer the whole order process. Any changes made are immediately and automatically fed into the e-commerce engine. It couldn't be easier.
