Swiss Re's centre for global dialogue - rüschlikon - sought an engaging interactive representation of their efforts to communicate about the world of risk.
Bucking the point-and-click paradigm, we designed the Virtual Themeworld - an imersive 3D world of seemingly disparate objects. Each object, however, forms a zone pertaining to a similar theme. The user navigates through the site finding thought provoking content.
The site created a storm in the press. It is featured in the book Web 3D as the paradigm for corporate ventures into 3D and Creative Review ran a multi-page article. At the site's launch it attracted more visitors than Swiss Re's corporate site.
